Weekly Reflection Resource
Prayer of Adoration
How great are Your works, O Lord!
Your thoughts are very deep.
The senseless man does not know;
Fools do not understand
That when the wicked spring up like grass
And all the evildoers flourish,
They will be destroyed forever. (Psalm 92:5-8)
You are the Lord, that is Your name.
You will not give Your glory to another,
Or Your praise to idols. (Isaiah 42:8)
Spend time expressing to God your prayer of praise and worship.

What are HABITS?
Habits are a part of life. We are people of habits. This can be a good thing (if the habits are healthy) or a bad thing (if the habits are bad). Here at Sidney NYI we encourage students to choose healthy habits that will help empower their walk with Christ.
H - Hang out with God. Simply spend time with God daily in devotions. That involves reading His Word, and praying.
A - Accountability. We believe that this journey is easier when you have a person walking with you checking on how you are doing.
B - Bible Study. This is more than reading devotionally, this is studying to understand the true meaning of scripture.
I - Involvement in the Church. We believe that students are the Church of today, and should serve within the local church.
T - Thankful Giving. The habit of Biblical giving of finances is important to establish at a young age. It reminds us that everything belongs to God.
S - Scripture Memorization. When scripture is memorizes it is better than an app, it goes with us everywhere and renews our mind.
